Reading, Pa. (November 16, 2009) - Senior forward Janelle Lynch (Macungie, Pa./Brandywine) was named to the Longstreth/NFHCA South Atlantic All-Region Team as announced by the association on Monday afternoon. This award comes after Lynch was honored on the Second-Team All-Commonwealth last week.

Montclair, N.J. (Nov. 14, 2009) - Eighth-seeded Hartwick College (13-7) got a pair of goals each from two different players in a 4-0 win over #4 Alvernia University (12-9) in semifinal action of the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Region Field Hockey Championship at Montclair State University.

Lehigh, Pa. (Nov. 14, 2009) - Senior Bridget Burger (Lansdale, Pa./Lansdale Catholilc) finished the 6K women's race in 103rd (24:32) and freshman Chris Brennan (Reading, Pa./Exeter) finished the 8K men's race in 209th (29:21) as the Crusaders finished 44th as a team in both races at the NCAA Cross Country East Regional at Lehigh University.
Janelle Lynch led Alvernia with six shots on Thursday.
November 11, 2009 (Reading, Pa.) - Alvernia (12-8) got two goals and an assist from recent All-Commonwealth Second Team selection Janelle Lynch (Macungie, Pa./Brandywine) en route to defeating visiting Wesley College (12-10) by a score of 4-0 to advance to the ECAC semi-finals. The fourth seeded Crusaders will now face the eighth seeded Hartwick College who upset number one seeded Wilkes University earlier today.
