Reading, Pa. (Sept. 1, 2010) - Sophomore EJ Logan (Frederick, Md./Frederick) and senior Morgan Davidheiser (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) netted a pair of goals each to lead Alvernia University to a 5-0 win over Penn State-Berks in non-conference men's soccer action at Berks.

Reading, Pa. (August 24, 2010) - Alvernia was selected to finish tied for seventh out of eight teams in the Commonwealth Conference this season as voted on by head coaches. Messiah College, 2009 National Champion was the undisputed first place selection.

Senior Chris Lasher (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown) represented Men's Soccer, sophomore Amy Mesce (Pittstown, Pa./Delaware Valley Regional) represented Women's Soccer, and senior Jaclyn Guignet (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) represented Field Hockey.

(October 31, 2009) - Alvernia (4-12-1, 1-5-1 Comm.) battled the visiting Knights from Arcadia (11-5-3, 4-1-1 Comm.) to a scoreless tie this evening in Commonwealth Conference action at Schlager Memorial Field. Prior to the game seniors Austin Keller (Denver, Pa./Cocalico), Chris Lasher (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown) and Adam Lush (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) were honored.

(October 17, 2009) - The Crusader Men's Soccer team earned their first Commonwealth Conference win thanks to a 2-1 double overtime victory over visiting Lycoming College (10-5-1, 0-3-1 Commonwealth) this afternoon at Schlager Memorial Field as a part of Alvernia's Homecoming weekend. With the win Alvernia improves to 4-9 on the season and 1-3 in the Commonwealth Conference.
