(Sept. 1, 2010) - Junior forward Amy Mesce (Pittstown, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) scored twice and senior Felicia Sippel (Cinnaminson, N.J./St. Hubert) handed out a pair of assists to lead Alvernia University (1-0) to a 3-1 win over Lancaster Bible College (0-1) in non-conference women's soccer action at LBC.

Reading, Pa. (August 24, 2010) - After finishing at 3-16 in 2009, Alvernia was selected to finish eighth of eight teams in the Commonwealth Conference this season as voted on by head coaches. 2009 National Champion Messiah College was a unanimous selection to take the conference title.
