Wilkes-Barre, Pa. (Oct. 25, 2009) - Alvernia University competed in the Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Corporation Women's Tennis Individual Tournament over the weekend. Junior Lil Snyder (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) advanced to the semifinals at No. 3 singles and the team of Jenny McKee (York, Pa./York Catholic) and Kayla Morgan (Mohrsville, Pa./Hamburg) advanced to the semifinals at No. 1 doubles.
