Student-Athletes Honored At Annual Athletic Banquet

Reading, Pa. (May 7, 2009) - Alvernia University Athletics honored its student athletes with its 21st Annual Awards Banquet at the Crowne Plaza in Reading on Wednesday May 6th. Senior volleyball and softball player Lauren Crimi (Nazareth, Pa./Notre Dame) and Men's Soccer player Chad Quinter (Exeter, Pa./Exeter) were named the Outstanding Senior Athletes of the Year.

Alvernia Adds Track And Field

Reading, Pa. (Mar. 26, 2009) - Alvernia University continues to grow and in the 2009-10 school year the Crusaders will add Men's and Women's Track and Field to its list of varsity sports sponsored. Alvernia will train and compete at the on-campus track which is scheduled for completion this summer.
