Reading, Pa. (Oct. 10, 2009) - Alvernia University (10-2, 3-2) earned its first conference win of the season with a convincing 9-0 win over Lycoming College (1-7, 0-3) Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference women's tennis action at Holy Name High School.

Alvernia University junior Lil Snyder (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) improved to 12-0 in singles play winning in straight sets at No. 3 singles.

The Crusaders will host Neumann College in a non-conference match on Monday.
