2009-10: Named First Team All-Commonwealth Conference...Gillis scored a career high 27 points in a double-overtime loss at Albright (2/16)...then added 21 against Lebanon Valley (2/20)...the 5-10 guard averaged seven rebounds per game and handed out six assists per game this week...had 14 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds in a four-point win over Widener (2/11)...again named the AU Player of the Week (2/1) after posting a solid 13, 3, 3, and 3 in just 28 minutes on against PSU-Schuylkill...went the full 40 against Etown, the 11th time this season he's played all 40 minutes....he shot 50 percent from the floor on the week and hit twice in three attempts from the 3-point arc...named the Alvernia University Player of the Week (1/11) after putting up 20 points versus Carnergie Mellon and 14 at Lebanon Valley, also had nine rebounds in each game...filled the stat sheet as Alvernia topped the Freedom defending champion DeSales (1/3)…had 20 points in 40 minutes...added final steal and assist with 16 seconds left expanding a two-point lead to four.
