1,000 lbs. 500 lbs.

 

Alvernia University Weightlifting Clubs

Men's 1000lb Club- Each participant has three different different lifts to reach 1000 pounds between January 20th and May 1st. Each Participant has unlimited attempts and can use their highest amount for each lift. A participant will be added to the 1,000 pound club when their three lifts combine to equal 1,000 pounds or more.

Lifts to Qualify:

1.) Bench Press
2.) Deadlift
3.) Squat

Women's 500lb Club- Each participant has three different different lifts to reach 500 pounds between January 20th and May 1st. Each Participant has unlimited attempts and can use their highest amount for each lift. A participant will be added to the 500 pound club when their three lifts combine to equal 500 pounds or more.

Lifts to Qualify:

1.) Bench Press

3.) Squat


ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE FITNESS CENTER SUPERVISOR WITNESS THEIR LIFTS. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE A STUDENT, FACULTY, OR STAFF OF ALVERNIA UNIVERSITY. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST FILL OUT A WAIVER FORM LOCATED IN THE WEIGHTROOM AND HAVE THEIR ID WITH THEM.
